Game Attendance
We love roleplaying games. It's a great hobby and a fine way to enjoy an evening with good people doing something fun for a few hours. It's not a job, it's purely fun time, and none of us take it so seriously as to get all bent out of shape when something in-game doesn't go our way.
That being said, it is a time commitment. An evening is set aside out of the week so we can all gather around the table and tell a damn good story. Sometimes things come up that interfere with that - a family obligation, a personal emergency, etc. - and gaming needs to take a backseat, which is perfectly understandable. With a group as relatively small as this one, however, every person counts. If half of the group is missing, we can still forge ahead, but three people down leaves us with only one player and a Storyteller, effectively stalling the game.
If you know you're not going to be able to make a game night well in advance, please call or leave a message here on the board to let us know as soon as possible. Don't wait until the last minute to cancel unless it's absolutely unavoidable. Plans can be shifted to another day with advance notice, or canceled altogether to free up an evening, but this is more problematic for those who show up and suddenly find that the rest of the group is missing.
In short, be courteous to your fellow gamers and communicate with us! That's why there's a forum!
